GAPS Coach Graduate Support
Amy Mihaly is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified GAPS Practitioner based in Northern Colorado and the founder and visionary of the Be Well Clinic.
Amy is an educator and she Ioves to teach! She always finds herself sharing information in whatever setting she is in. Some of the ways she does this is through writing, video education, blogging, live speaking engagements, social media, hands-on classes, individual consults, and more. Amy is the host of the Certified GAPS Coach graduate webinar series and a GAPS team member, and she is the author of the popular book, "Notes from a GAPS Practitioner"and the journal series, "My Daily Insights: A GAPS Journal, both of which can be found on Amazon.com.
Amy learned about diseases and the human body from a Western medicine perspective. From this training she has a deep understanding of how the body works and how things may effect it. She bring this training and perspective into each and every patient and teaching interaction she has. Amy believes that nutrition is the fundamental element to health. The Gut and Psychology Syndrome™ (GAPS) Nutritional Healing Protocol, is an efficient way to heal a “leaky gut,” which is often the reason behind malnutrition and toxicity in people today. Being a wellness advocate, essential oils are a large part of Amy's own health routine, which allows her too take care of herself and her home without using toxic, man-made chemicals. Amy is constantly learning more so she can better educate and support her patients, as well as lead a successful business that can expand in bringing hope and health to more and more people.
When Amy is not working she is probably playing with her puppy, Padfoot, spending time outside, cooking, or reading biographies or fantasy books. She is also looking forward to the day when things settle down a little and she can get away to Guatemala for a couple weeks to visit her friends and "kids" in Antigua, Guatemala City and the New Life Children's Home again, her home away from home!
