Stephanie Thomas
Director of Trainings & Operations
PharmD, NTP, CGP
Stephanie Thomas, PharmD, NTP, CGP is a pharmacist, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and Certified GAPS Practitioner with a professional background spanning healthcare, nutrition, education, and training program leadership.
Stephanie began her career as a pharmacist, earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia and working for several years as a pharmacy manager in both Georgia and California. Her background in pharmacy gave her a strong foundation in human physiology, pharmacology, medication management, and the complex ways medications, nutrition, and lifestyle can influence health.
Her own evolving interest in nutrition led her to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner in 2021 and a Certified GAPS Practitioner in 2023. She went on to establish Happy Gut Healthy Mind Nutrition, where she has supported clients with nutrition and lifestyle changes and the practical implementation of the GAPS Nutritional Protocol.
Stephanie also brings extensive experience in education and program operations. For several years, she served as Director of Operations & Administration for PRATI (Psychedelic Research and Training Institute), helping develop and deliver professional training programs for healthcare and mental health professionals. Her work included training operations, participant support, communications, event coordination, systems development, and helping create well-organized and supportive learning experiences.
Today, Stephanie serves as Director of Trainings & Operations for GAPS Training, where she combines her clinical background, firsthand knowledge of GAPS, and years of experience developing and managing professional education programs. She oversees training operations and course delivery while supporting students as they deepen their understanding of GAPS and prepare to bring that knowledge into their own work.
At the heart of Stephanie’s work is a love of education and a belief in giving people practical tools they can actually use to improve their health and the health of their families.
