Becky Plotner, ND, traditional naturopath, CGP, D.PSc. is a Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor, through The American Naturopathic Medical Association and works as a Certified GAPS Practitioner. She sees clients in her office, via Skype and phone. She studied parasitology with Duke University, finishing with distinction, Duke Global Health Institute, through Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College in Moshi, Tanzania with members Dr. Frank Mosha, Dr. Mramba Nyindo and Dr. John Bartlett. She is classified as a practitioner literate in iodine and also classified as a practitioner literate in Lyme. She currently continues her studies working towards her Masters in Iridology with the works of Ellen Tart-Jensen who trained under the world famous iridologist Bernard Jensen.
Her 5th book Commercial Probiotics VS Food Probiotics and her 6th book GAPS, Stage by Stage, With Recipes are both ready for publishing after Dr. Natasha finishes her final reading. Plotner has been published in Wise Traditions, spoken at two Weston A. Price Conferences, Certified GAPS Practitioner Trainings, has been on many radio shows, television shows and writes for her site Nourishing Plot. She was brought to the healing powers of food as a supportive tool by her son who was delivered from the effects of autism (Asperger's syndrome), ADHD, bipolar disorder/manic depression, hypoglycemia and dyslexia with only food.
Since the whole family ate like their son, Plotner began walking away from health issues herself using the same GAPS methods. She no longer experiences IBS, POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Stage Four Adrenal Fatigue, Hypothyroidism, heavy metal toxicity, Helicobacter pylori, stomach ulcers, carpal tunnel, brain fog, tinnitus, hypoglycemia, eczema, severe constipation, fibromyalgia, cancer, Lyme disease, PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) , systemic candida, SIBO (small intestinal bacteria overgrowth), intestinal cystitis, MTHFR genetic mutations, rosascea, and has walked away from over 50 allergies. She still supports her body properly for Stage Two Spinal Degeneration and MCS (multiple chemical sensitivities).
She has a true passion for the amazing powers of food and serves as a Chapter Leader for The Weston A. Price Foundation.
